WILL OF CHARLES SHAW
Last Will of Charles Shaw, made this 9th day of November, A.D. 1889.
IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN! It is my will that all my just debts including my funeral expenses be paid. Then:
1st: I will, devise and bequeath unto my grandson James B. Shaw the sum of one dollar ($1.00).
2nd: I will, devise and bequeath unto my grandson Hugh Monroe the sum of one dollar ($1.00).
3rd: I will, devise and bequeath unto W. Clement Shaw, my son, the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00).
4th: I will, devise and bequeath unto me beloved wife, Mary Shaw, one third of my entire estate after paying the above
legacies.
5th: Whatever remains after the above legacies are paid, I will, devise and bequeath unto the following named my beloved
children in equal shares, to wit: Genette E. Shaw, one share; Dollie M. Samuels, one share; Didama Grigsby, one share;
Charles W. Shaw, one share; Galena B. Barbee, one share; Snoden R. Shaw, one share; Robert G. Shaw, one share and
Clement Shaw, one share.
In witness whereof I have this day set my hand, this the ninth day of November A.D. 1889, and publish this my last Will
and Testament.
